Flying and sometimes driving are about the only times you need an immediate reaction. The reat of the time one should sit back and think about it before you react.
Good morning Col Burroughs and all my brothers and sisters here on VFV. Regarding what you said
”Your demeanor, your voice inflection, and your confidence will produce a positive reaction from others!”, it reminds me of my time working as a Patrol Deputy Deputy Sheriff. In a volatile situation I used my demeanor, voice inflection and my confidence to take control of the situation and calm things down. That was so important to me because I had such a large area of responsibility and very little, if any, backup close by. It meant whether I would go home after my shift or end up in the hospital or possibly dead. People react to what they perceive. Project weakness and you…
Good Wednesday morning Colonel.
