TONIGHT's Topic: "What's in your HOPE BOX?"

"As a suicide attempt survivor faciliator , one of the projects in our workshop we had the participants, (and facilitators), do, was to make "Hope Boxes". These boxes contained inspirations, memories, keepsakes, mementos, pictures, and any other items that would bring hope to an individual when they are at their lowest. Decorated outside and inside with memorabilia to inspire, these boxes were filled with forethought and planning as to what might give one hope and guidance when someone has reached a low spot in their life. What would you put in your Hope Box? What items, pictures of loved ones, trinkets, and memories would give you hope when things seem darkest? Perhaps it is time to make your own Hope Box? On Wednesday, TSgt Steven Bates will show his Hope Box and its contents to possibly inspire you to create your own and fill it with your own hopes and dreams. Remember, HOPE is only an acronym for Hang On, Pain Ends!!"
