Breaking Free from "Guilt, Shame & What If?” - Join Mike & Friends for Warriors for Life (WFL)
Drop in every Saturday evening with Volunteer and Army Veteran Mikel Burroughs for "Burly's Warriors" edition of Warriors for Life (WFL) Online, presented by Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV).
We are asking everyone to share who we are and what support that Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV) is providing via WFL. If you know someone who is a veteran, first responder or a family member/caregiver, please ask them to join us for at least one meeting so they can learn more about what we do and how they can share their wisdom with others who may be able to learn from them.

"Guilt, Shame & What If?"
Welcome, everyone, to "Burly’s Warriors!", the Saturday evening edition of Warriors for Life (WFL) Online Peer Support Network.

Warriors, sometimes the heaviest battles aren't fought on the battlefield or in the moments everyone else can see. They're fought quietly inside our own minds.
It's the endless replaying of moments we wish we could change. The decisions we question. The words we wish we had said. The things we wish we had done differently.
What if I had noticed? What if I had acted sooner? What if I had made a different decision?
And somewhere along the way, guilt can turn into shame. We stop questioning what happened and start questioning our own worth.
But here's something worth remembering: Guilt says, "I did something wrong." Shame says, "I am wrong." Those are NOT the same thing!
Tonight, we're creating a space to talk openly, listen without judgment, and explore how we can acknowledge our past without allowing it to define our future.
You don't have to share anything you're not comfortable sharing. You can speak, listen, participate in the chat, or simply be present. There's no judgment, no pressure, and no expectation to have all the answers.
⚔️ "COME AS YOU ARE. BRING WHAT YOU'RE CARRYING. LEAVE KNOWING YOU DON'T HAVE TO CARRY IT ALONE!"
Remember, Warriors: You cannot rewrite yesterday, but you can change how you carry it into tomorrow.

It's about recognizing that invisible wounds are real, that struggling does not make you weak, and that you don't have to walk through those struggles alone. So tonight, I want everyone to remember our Burly’s Warriors! rule:

"Because sometimes showing up is the first step toward finding your way forward!"
Our Vision at Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV) is simple: "Where Hope, Support, and Healing come together!"

We encourage you to join us, Everyone is Welcome, Everyone Matters, You Matter to Us, so Talk to Us! — invite a friend!
