If you know someone who is a veteran, first responder or a family member/caregiver, please ask them to join us for at least one meeting so they can learn more about what we do and how they can share their wisdom with others who may be able to learn from them.

Please share the Warriors for Life mission with Veterans, first responders, active-duty service members, caregivers, and family members. Invite someone to join us for one meeting, learn what WFL offers, and share the hard-earned wisdom that may help another person feel less alone.
You can be dependable and still have a difficult day. You can enjoy a laugh and still appreciate some support. This conversation leads into Week 2, “Why We Hide the Pain,” by asking what makes it easier to be honest about how we are doing.
We can spend ten minutes explaining why the printer will not connect and three seconds explaining how we are doing. Apparently, the printer is allowed to have issues.
For Veterans, First Responders, and friends, being the person others count on can become familiar. Receiving care may take practice. Here, you can speak in general terms, simply listen, or pass on any question. You can take a break whenever you need one. There is no need to describe a difficult event.
