The “Colonel’s” VFV Motivational/Inspirational Quotes & Message of the Day!
Good “Wednesday and Hump Day!” Morning “Band of Brothers & Sisters,” and all great connections. Welcome from the “Colonel’s Foxhole” in The Woodlands, TX — 23 March 2022!
"What day is it?"

Today’s Message is: “Interest Day!” Why Not?
“If leaders want to be genuinely interested in the people or team they lead, they have a laser focus on them, and they’ll prove it by letting the team know it – out loud. Those leaders do their very best to see the world through the eyes of their people. They show empathy and are willing to step into their shoes. If you want to be a great leader, then be curious and care about your team. Show a genuine interest and it will serve you well!” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

Good morning Col Burroughs and all of my brothers and sisters here on VFV. I found a link today that gives 52 ways to live by. From that I have copied and pasted, below, Principle 5 which talks about how God has our best interest at heart. It is short but powerful, in my estimation. It is a concept that we should always remember. Have a blessed day today and always.

PRINCIPLE 5 | REALIZE THAT GOD HAS OUR BEST INTEREST AT HEART
february 5, 2020
One thing we can know for sure is that God has our best interest at heart. When He says do something or don’t do something else, it is for our good. Proverbs…
I think I probably pissed some of the folks in my squadrons off by dropping by some ongoing operation, but seriously the look on an Airman's face when you ask him to show you how to do something is priceless. But seriously, you can't effectively lead those who think you have no interest in them or what they do.
