"Today is Freedom Day!! On this day, we commemorate the signing of the 13th Amendment to outlaw slavery of all races in America. While it is not a National Holiday, many take the time to celebrate all the freedoms that we have as Amercans.

Tonight, as a symbolic gesture of freedom day, it's open mic night!! Let's be free to talk about anything in a safe and secure environment. A few exceptions of course, politics and religion often ignite triggers so we will stay away from those but let's have a free and open discussion without fears of reprisal or judgement tonight." — TSgt (Ret) Steven Bates
