If you know someone who is a veteran, first responder or a family member/caregiver, please ask them to join us for at least one meeting so they can learn more about what we do and how they can share their wisdom with others who may be able to learn from them.

Please share the Warriors for Life mission with Veterans, first responders, active-duty service members, caregivers, and family members. Invite someone to join us for one meeting, learn what WFL offers, and share the hard-earned wisdom that may help another person feel less alone.
Week 2, “Why We Hide the Pain,” asks what may sit behind “I’m fine.” Before we move into anger and irritability, there is a useful place to pause: the moment ordinary things start feeling harder than usual.
Some days, a website rejects our password and asks whether we are a robot. At that point, “irritated human” really ought to be an option.
We can smile at a familiar frustration and still take ourselves seriously. This conversation is about noticing what we need while there is room to choose our next words. You are welcome to use everyday examples, answer generally, or simply listen. Passing on a question or taking a break needs no explanation.
